Book: The other side of charm

Great website. I'm looking forward to reading her book. She goes into detail of how the courts need to understand the tactics used by sociopaths and step up and protect the victims of the abuse.

Book: The Chump Lady Survival Guide to Infidelity by Tracy Schorn

This book is informative, inspiring, and very helpful (spoiler alert--her use of profanity is frequent, but hilarious). A must-read, penned by a woman who herself was a 2-time chump. She identifies traits and gives no-holds-barred advice. Check out her online column too.

Book: "The Journey from Abandonment to Healing"

I'm currently reading "The Journey from Abandonment to Healing" by Susan Anderson. It's the only book I've found that helps the reader cope with the painful emotions that flood in when someone you love deeply suddenly dumps you as if you never even mattered to them.

Book: Private Lies, Infidelity and the Betrayal of Intimacy

This book helped me understand what others have been telling me for years, i.e., "It's not you!" It has really helped me to finally "let it go". It also has some tips for young married couples about what love really is, and what it REALLY isn't. I'm much more at peace…

Music, movies, & more: You Go To My Head - Cassandra Wilson

I'm a musician and the orchestration along with the unusual timbre of Wilson's voice occupied my mind and steered me away from negative thoughts. Just don't listen to the words if you're heartbroken!
