An AARP poll of 3,500 single people found that one-third of women between 40 and 69 were dating younger men. And not just a few months younger — at least eight years younger. (More than half of the women in the 2003 poll were divorced or separated.)
Move over Samantha and boy toy model/actor Smith.

Demi Moore, who turns 46 in November, and Aston Kutcher, who just turned 30? They've been married for three years now. No biggie.
There are websites with names like gocougar.com and dateacougar.com that match older women with younger men.
Almost any woman on the cover of More magazine, designed for women 40 and up, would be considered cougar material: Jennifer Beals, Elizabeth Hurley, Angella Bassett.
Good god, Madonna turns 50 next week. Has she ever been with a man older than she is? Her husband, Guy Ritchie, is at least 10 years younger.
Inevitably, here comes the reality show. And they are looking for two more women who are dating younger men.
The New York Post reports that "Cougars: NYC" will hold a casual "go-see" for women over 40 who date younger men at Libations on Ludlow Street on August 20.
Executive producer Elizabeth Mwanga told The Post, "It's women who are beautiful, successful, and hot, who can get these younger guys."
