Can you imagine being friendly enough with your ex to hang out with him on your birthday? Well, it looks like Whitney Houston and her ex Bobby Brown are friendly enough to meet for dinner at a crab joint in Alpharetta, Ga. where the singer celebrated her 44th birthday earlier this week.
Houston filed for divorce from her rap star husband last year; they've been divorced since April when Brown indicated he planned to sue Houston to change their custody arrangement. The couple have a teenage daughter, Bobbie Christina.

Yes, I'm still friendly
Sometimes things just don't work out. My ex and I didn't leave in a screaming match. We just saw that we were not a match any longer. Our lives were taking us down different roads. Do we want to get back together? Heck no. Are we still friends and chat from time to time? You betcha!

Friendly separation is what we went through. We managed to get through it without the drama. We shared more than just crab cakes, which was really helpful to the entire situation. We saved on money, time, energy, effort, and I probably have a few less gray hair and wrinkles handling it this way.

I haven't had an ex in such a long time- I don't know what I would do! I think it's very mature when two adults can be civil to each other after a relationship dies- as long as there wasn't some hideous reason for the breakup...
