Following intense speculation as to whether A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez), the New York Yankees’ stud will divorce wife, Gambling911.com, an online betting site puts the odds at 4 to 1.
Topping that one, BetUS.com was also offering bets on the number of Yankee players who will get divorced this season.
A-Rod was photographed visiting a strip club with a blonde woman identified as Joslyn Noel Morse.
I don’t think we need the oddsmakers weighing in on this: Wayward Yankees are a dime a dozen. Why doesn’t everyone just shut up and let them play. Baseball, that is…

A new book on Hillary Clinton due out June 5 reports that Bill Clinton wanted to split in 1989 but Hillary worried about being a single mother and declined to offer him a divorce.
In the book, A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton former Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein writes that prior to the end of his last term as governor of Arkansas, Bill fell in love with Little Rock executive Marilyn Jo Jenkins and sought a divorce.
Hillary’s best friend, the late Diane Blair, told Bernstein that Clinton worried about supporting her daughter. "What if she were on her own? She didn't own a house. She was concerned that if she were to become a single parent, how would she make it work in a way that would be good for Chelsea," Blair said, according to the book.
In addition, Hillary allegedly told Bill’s chief of staff, Betsey Wright, divorce wasn’t in the cards, saying, "There are worse things than infidelity." Oh my. Is that true? Are there worse things than infidelity in a relationship?
Bernstein’s book also advances the idea that Hillary thought her husband's election as president in 1992 would save their marriage because his cheating tendencies would be greatly reduced living under intense media scrutiny.
Interestingly, Bernstein describes Hillary's decision to run for U.S. Senate from New York in 2000 as an attempt to seek redemption --"hers, her husband's, and the Clinton presidency's."
And here’s another nugget: Bernstein’s book reports that it took Hillary Clinton more than two years to decide to marry Bill Clinton, largely because of her concerns that he would be unfaithful to her. She began her marriage knowing that, in Bernstein's words, "he was beyond her control when it came to other women."

For starters, it’s a six-episode series debuting on USA Network tonight, this much we know. The network is flogging “The Starter Wife” like crazy and Debra Messing, who plays Molly, appears ravishing and in a decidedly non-starter-like pose on the sides of buses in New York City, among other cities.
In today’s New York Times, Alessandra Stanley comes up with her own take: “The term ‘starter wife’ is offensive enough to make it sound like a little kit to grow a spouse. Like a starter house that needs work, or a starter hobby kit with the bare essentials, this has the ugly ring of planned obsolescence.”
Ouch.
For those of you familiar with the premise (the series is based on Gigi Levangie Grazer's best-selling book of the same name), Molly’s dumped via cell phone by her husband Kenny, a Hollywood studio bigwig, after 10 years of marriage. She’s kicked to the curb because Kenny’s taken up with a young pop star. What a horrendous cliché and yet there are so many stories out there like this one that are for real.
Molly is the perfect studio exec's wife: She takes care of everything for boy/man Kenny and all with perfect hair. She supports his career, cleans up after him and appears perfect in public for every function. True, the skinny bo-tox bitch hyper-competitive L.A. lifestyle is not how most people live, but in this series, we get a glimpse into this rarified world and what women do to survive in it. Frankly, it looks like it sucks. Big time.
But it's not all botox and bitchiness: "Starter" is a story of reinvention, recovery of self and empowerment. And that's certainly the First Wives World story. Molly's on a journey to find her true self and self-acceptance. We hear she'll also find love again too...Thank God.
