It appears that people are growing more comfortable with the notion of divorce, which is a milestone considering the stigma that has always been attached to it. But why has it always been such a hush-hush topic? I mean it happens, right? Divorce happens, like so many other things in life. I've known tons of people that have been in plenty of relationships that didn't work out, as well as some marriages, but they're not ashamed of being divorced.

If things are not working for the both of you, then embrace it. Don't be ashamed of it. Think renaissance! Think reinvention! Think (perhaps) you're one step closer to discovering who you are, to discovering where you want to go in life, and, yes, perhaps one step closer to finding the man you can spend the rest of your life with. Anyway, my two cents ...

Fresh from the divorce court and back onto the tennis court, Justine Henin won the Qatar Open with a 6-4, 6-2 win, beating out Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Having had to pull out of the Australian Open this year for "personal reasons," the Belgian newspaper, Le Soir, reported that she has been preoccupied with the process of divorcing her husband of four years, Peirre-Yves Hardenne.

''I never lost my tennis,'' she said. ''All I needed was to get my confidence back and I am proud of the way I did that. I needed to move forward and know who I am.''
