Hulk Hogan and Divorce Attorney Trade Barbs Outside Courtroom

In an adult version of “I know you are but what am I?” Hulk Hogan and his soon-to-be ex-wife’s divorce attorney, Ray Rafool, exchanged words outside the courtroom where a judge had just granted the release of $225,000 in frozen assets to Hogan.

According to the AP, while “Ray Ray” Rafool was posturing for the press, “The Hulk” began tossing in his oversized 2-cented comments from the sidelines. A frustrated Rafool finally shot back, “Are you gonna to wrestle with me here? Are you gonna come across the cameras? Then be quiet.” OOOhhh, no he diin’t just tell Hulk to shut up!

Hulk responded, “It’s a free world”. Whaa? No Irish Whip? No Atomic Leg Drop?

Ray Ray Rafool retorted with a full-blown…”No, it’s not a free world. It’s called professionalism”. Awww snap!

No doubt it was a fascinating lesson for the press, as they witnessed the word “professionalism” being defined by a lawyer bandying words with a guy who wore a yellow diaper and antagonized other men in tights…professionally.

I’d love to tell you the story got better or more interesting. It didn’t. Hulk’s attorney, David “ Holy Headlock” Houston, tagged in and jumped all over Ray Ray as the Hulkster, on crutches due to recent back surgery, hobbled away.

While the showdown was a minor tussle (at least by pro-wrestling standards), it is emblematic of the larger, nasty, finger-pointing smackdown that is the Bollea divorce (“Terry Bollea” being Hogan’s given name). Since Linda filed for divorce in November, 2007, she and Hulk have hired five law firms between them, and fought publicly about finances.

David “Holy Headlock” Houston, claims that his client is upset at the spiraling costs of the divorce, which will prevent him from helping John Graziano, the young man who was seriously injured in a car crash caused by Hogan's son, Nick.
