Ouch, that's gotta hurt worse than a steel chair to the face.

It seems the reality show curse has reared its ugly head again. Even on their TV show, "Hogan Knows Best," recent episodes had shown the couple attending marital counseling, but they did ultimately reconcile.

The Hulkster received a call from the St. Petersburg Times asking about the impending dissolution. After he pled his ignorance, the reporter told him the papers were filed in Pinellas County on Tuesday. What a way to kick off the holiday season. Apparently Linda had been in California for most of November, and perhaps in those calls home she just forgot to tell him she wanted out. Something like that easily slips the mind after all.

Recently the couple has been under some stress since their son Nick Bollea was arrested on reckless driving charges. He and a pal were street racing and Nick crashed his car, critically injuring his passenger. Nick himself had no serious injuries.

Now, could this all be an attempt to take the focus away from the negative publicity surrounding their son? Perhaps. We all know there are lots of moms who will do anything to protect their babies. However, I doubt that's the case, and I would hope this isn't something Linda decided lightly. Divorce isn't something you toy with, or at least it shouldn't be, especially after 24 years together.
