Yes, it's true. As you are undoubtedly aware, yet another seemingly happy couple who decided to put their lives on camera has been ruined. Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea may have wanted to check out the success of couples after the camera stopped rolling, such as Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson or Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra, and let's not forget Brit and K-Fed either.

Granted, everyone before the Bolleas had been married only a short time, especially when you consider that their marriage has lasted longer than some of the other folks have been alive. Perhaps they thought their 24 years together was strong enough to hold it up. Apparently, Linda is ready to branch out and escape the formidable shadow of her iconic, entertainer husband.

Celebrity life coach and behavior expert Patrick Wanis, who actually counseled the couple on the show, says that the cameras added "mental, emotional, and physical stress" to the marriage, and that producers are always looking for a way to expose conflict. They will encourage story lines that, as he put it, "make sparks".

No big surprise there, really. Another reason for emotional stress could be the lack of time to be intimate. Let's face it, if you have cameras in your face 24/7, it must be inhibiting the sex drive just a bit. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were filmed from the day they said "I do", and a source close to her says her and Nick were never able to get to know one another beyond the surface level. A spy on the set of Chaotic states that Britney Spears was often agitated because of her and hubby K-Fed's lack of private time together.

Granted, it's tough to feel sorry for them when they volunteered for the show, but even so. Hopefully it will serve as a warning for any other couples who may be tempted by the reality show juggernaut.
