Legendary musician Carlos Santana and his wife have apparently hit the skids.

On October 19th Deborah Santana filed for divorce from her husband, citing irreconcilable differences. The two have been married for 34 years.

The pair seemed to have an idyllic marriage up until 2005 when Deborah's memoir, "Space Between the Stars," revealed her husband's infidelities. In response, he stated that he had apologized for any hurt he had inflicted upon his family, and is encouraged to "try harder to be the man she wants me to be." He goes on to say that "nothing is worth it if I'm not with her."

Apparently she didn't feel the same.

No details have come forth on what caused the split, and Carlos' spokesman has stated that the divorce is a private matter and he will not comment on it. There's also no word on whether the split will have an effect on the Milagro Foundation, a nonprofit the couple started together to aid children with health, education, and the arts.

All I can say is I hope the two of them are able to part as amicably as possible, despite the pain that comes with all divorces.
