Unfortunately at 6:30PM there aren't a lot of women free to watch Katie. What I've read is CBS tried to offer a new kind of newscast. One with more "variety" and a new younger "female" in charge.

Didn't work. The mature audience watching todays network news shows like 'em very traditional and straight forward. Katie is probably trying too hard to be fresh and different.

Keep going though Katie ... every bit helps.

So many people seem divided. But I like the idea of stripping it down to women supporting women. There gold in that. Remove the face she's Katie. She a woman that worked her butt off to get where she is, sacrificed a personal life to follow her dream, and has broken through. That's worth supporting, even if you don't necessarily find her the best in her field.
