Divorce doesn't have to be a battle field. My parents divorced when I was young and they both loved me with all their hearts and I never wanted for hugs and kisses. They made sure I was the center of both their worlds and because of that I grew into being a totally well-adjusted man. Watching their divorce taught me how to deal with partners when having arguements. I never saw them scream or throw things. They always sat down and just worked out the details without hostility. I learned that sometimes people just grow apart but you learn something from every relationship and some last, some don't but through all the brake ups you learn to really narrow down exactly what you want and don't want from your partner.
