 <description>&lt;p&gt;We talked to a mediator and through that we were able to settle some things that alone we couldn&#039;t have, which would have changed our divorce from being &#039;non-contested&#039;.  The divorce ended up costing $300, and it was $500 ea. for two QDROs I had to file in order to claim my part of his retirement.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;you have to be willing to work things through this way, but it such a healthier way to approach divorce. and the emotional and finanical strain is so much less....&lt;/p&gt;
